[music |antony]

My patience is growing thin as this hunt for a decent job continues.
The pace of this little adventure seems irreversable.
Or unmovable, at that rate, even backwards would be exciting.
No one's moving forward.
But!
I have an interview scheduled for Monday at a preschool.
Hopefully the next time you hear from me it will be "Miss Kaia" talking.

I've moved out of my mother's once again and am now living with 3 other girls in a midtown house.
The house is beautiful.
Too bad I can't say as much for the company.
JUST KIDDING, sort of.

I'm off to fulfill my life-long dreams of feeling important.

July 23rd, things are movin' like Spring [Jul. 23rd, 2006|12:57 am]
[mood | joyful]
[music |rocky]

I love to babble when sleep calls me home,
it's just procrastination camoflauged in heavy fatigue.
I really don't like the fact that I write unlike how I speak.
And the fact that I speak unlike how I write.
There's no substance to anything you say if you don't live it, right?
Isn't that what we live by?
I AM A BABBLE MACHINE.

JUNE [Jun. 23rd, 2006|06:09 pm]
July is for sissies.
This summer was all about June.
I watched a documentary about global warming yesterday,
little did I know it was actually Al Gore's autobiography.
Moving, nonetheless.

The past month has been good.
Interesting, and odd.
My mom told me when I turned 18 I'd be traveling through Europe with gramma's money,
but I'm stuck in Southern Arizona waiting tables instead.
Money doesn't grow on trees.
That was so cute when I was 8,
it had such a ring to it.
Now it's just something I hate to realize.

Jacob and I are going to Denver next month to visit his brother.
I'm excited to be able to sit outside without sweating or feeling like I'm standing in front of a gigantic blowdryer.
Then after we get back we're off to Utah with Forrest and family to camp.
FOR TEN DAYS.
It's like wilderness bootcamp.
But looking at the brightside, I'll learn how to appreciate nature. :(

That's all!
Take care.
God bless you little ones.

[music |radiohead]

I'm exhausted.
The kind of exhausted where you're too exhausted to even say the word, exhausted.
Yesterday felt like a holiday.
Things were cheery, red, and all covered in glitter.
But today's just as dead as December 26th.
Busy buzzing is hard when all you want to do is sleep.

sleepy pea [May. 2nd, 2006|07:55 am]
[mood | bouncy]
[music |Jumanji stampeed]

It's 8 o' clock in the morning and I still haven't gone to sleep yet.
Didn't even bother to watch the sun rise.
I'm not really sure how it is I'd rather stay awake and watch Jumanji and Full House re-runs rather than get a good nights rest.
OH YOUTH, YOU'RE SO TRICKY.
Naive children run rampid in the streets.

Psych [Apr. 30th, 2006|03:24 pm]
[mood | awake]

Steph's sitting behind me watching Silence of The Lambs.
She's one of those people that really gets into thrillers, especially the ones with detectives involved.
Not just the plotlines, or the characters.
I think she feels a part of her is obligated to help solve the crime.
She's the kind that jumps up right before the end screaming, "Watch out! Look behind you!"

I guess it's nice to see some sign of life from her.
